Edina Football Association (EFA) seeks to provide a community and volunteer-driven program to promote the growth and development of our players. EFA works to promote a fun, fair, and safe environment that maximizes participation and improves players' skills while developing sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-confidence.

VERY IMPORTANT: PLAYERS SHOULD REGISTER FOR THE SCHOOL GRADE THEY WILL BE ENTERING IN THE FALL 2008!
We are offering the following leagues:
2nd and 3rd Grades - Flag Football. Cost is $100.
4th, 5th and 6th Grades - Tackle Football. Cost is $200.
7th and 8th Grades - Traveling Football. Cost is $250.
Registration is also available for EHS Head Coach Kim Nelson's summer football camp. Grades 4-8. Dates are July 21-24 and July 28-31. $75.00 total cost for both weeks. Kuhlman Stadium! You can register when completing the fall season regular registration. Look for the link before checkout! |

EFA FITTING NIGHTS AND APPAREL SALES |
|
EFA is sponsoring two equipment fitting and apparel sales nights!
If you need of equipment for the season, get fitted by representatives of General Sports for helmets, shoulder pads, pants, etc.
Also, come purchase your EFA football apparel!
Representatives of General Sports will be at Southview School during Coach Nelson's Football Camp on Monday, July 21st, and Tuesday, July 29th, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to fit kids for equipment and take apparel orders. Equipment will be on hand for purchase after fitting. Some equipment may need to be ordered, but will be available prior to the start of the season. Apparel ordered will be available during the first several weeks of school.
This is your only opportunity we provide to get your son fitted for equipment and order EFA apparel! Join us on July 21st or July 29th at Southview!

Coaches Upcoming Training |
|
All 2008 Edina Football Association coaches for grades 4th – 8th are required to attend these two training clinics that will be led by Edina High School Head Football Coach Kim Nelson and his staff:
Thursday, August 7, 7 – 9 pm. Offensive strategies
Tuesday, August 12, 7 – 9 pm. Defensive strategies
Location to be determined.
The training will include information on Coach Nelson’s offensive and defensive plays and formations, which the EFA will be instituting, on a grade appropriate basis, for the 2008 season. All coaches are required to be in attendance for these two important pre season training clinics. |

EFA NIGHT IS SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 29TH!!!! |
|
Our Annunal EFA Night will be held on August 29th prior to the start of the Varsity game against Fargo South. This is a BIG GAME!!! Fargo South is the reigning Section 3A North Dakota State Champs. This "Border Battle" will help to establish Edina as a premier football program. Go up to the lake on Saturday morning so that you don't miss this epic battle!!
The EFA will serve hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and pop to all EFA participants for FREE prior to the game. Plan on enjoying a wonderful night of Edina football!! |
